If you are 45 years old or over, have high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol, you might be eligible to participate in a student research trial that I am conducting here at Woolpit Complementary. This will form a substantial part of my degree in Nutrition and Human Health, with the University of Suffolk.
I have created a simple dietary intervention with the aim to reduce hypertension, which is a primary symptom of vascular diseases as well as diabetes, obesity and chronic kidney disease.
In order to understand the strengths and limitations of this intervention, I need a large number of participants. I would like to work with as many people as possible, in order to establish whether the information I collect is representative for the wider population.
If you would like to find out more, please click the button below to download the preliminary information as a PDF and find out how to register your interest. This is a free, voluntary project for the purpose of research only and I have received ethical approval from the University of Suffolk.
Alternatively, you can call the centre on 01359 408 011 and either myself or my colleague Lara will be able to answer any questions you might have.
