Specialist Foot and lower Limb Health Care
Podiatry is a specialist area of healthcare which involves care and maintenance of the foot and lower limb conditions. A podiatrist’s aim is to improve the independence, mobility and general quality of life for each client.
Podiatry can treat a whole host of foot and foot related conditions, including:
Achilles Tendinopathy ● Arthritis ● Blisters ● Bunion ● Corns and Hard Skin ● Diabetes ● Fungal Toenail Infections ● Gout ● Plantar Fasciitis ● Heel Pain ● Ingrowing Toenails ● Metatarsalgia (Pain in the Ball of the Foot) ● Neuroma (or Morton’s Neuroma) ● Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction (PTTD) ● Sports Injuries ● Toe Joint Pain ● Verrucas
Podiatrists can supply orthotics, which are tailor-made insoles, padding or arch supports. These are placed into your shoe to re-align your foot, take pressure off vulnerable areas of your foot or simply to make your shoes more comfortable.
Even if your feet are generally in good condition, you might consider having a single session of podiatry to have the hard skin on your feet removed, toenails clipped or even to check if you are wearing the right kind of footware.
You can call us any time between 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday or 10am – 3pm each Saturday 01359 408 011

If you have a cash plan policy like Simply Health, you will be able to reclaim your payments.
